GEOFFREY HEIM: The first thing you should do if you're arrested is not talk to the police. The police will use every statement that you make against you, whether you think you're helping yourself by talking, if you're trying to talk yourself out of it or you're just giving basic information, the police are going to use those statements to put together a timeline to find out where you were and what your, your involvement in that particular episode was.
